In
our fifth campaign for the Jewish Communal Appeal, a Sydney based
fundraising organisation which supports education, healthcare, cultural
continuity, aged care and more for the broad Jewish community, we
needed something fresh to continue the growth in the awareness, fundraising
success and acceptance by the community of JCA's essential role.
Significant benchmark demographic and motivational research conducted
under our direction in 1994 had created a series of campaigns that
confronted, cajoled and pushed a number of emotional buttons for this
audience. In 1999 we needed something to make the community proud
of the vibrancy and success of their support for JCA.
The theme approved unanimously by a demanding Executive Board was: |

campaign platform spoke to both the older and younger generations
of the good things in being Jewish and maintaining that cultural heritage.
It was a landmark in re-inforcing Jewish cultural identity in Australia...
