Over
the past decade consumers, governments and even businesses have
become aware of their interrelated roles in developing and implementing
processes and practices that maintain our environment in terms of
air, water and soil quality. Collex over that period has grown from
a small Australian waste manager to an innovative part of the global
Vivendi Group of Companies at the forefront of environmentally sensitive
techniques.
Below
are a range of magazine ads designed by United Notions to raise
these issues and dialogue specifically with businesses. These ads
used targeted media to speak directly to a specific business audience
about specific issues. Specific placement too of each appearance
is always a United Notions pre-requisite. We don't just want to
be there, we want to dominate that reader environment. "Donšt
commit environmental suicide" was voted one of the highest
impact ads the magazine publisher of Waste & Environment had seen
in this market in the early 90s. Some years later we reminded Company
Directors in financial press and industry magazines of their responsibility
under tougher environmental legislation that had been introduced.
In fact one Australian Company Director went to gaol for failing
in his duty.
