300
days of sunshine with cloudless skies in summer, spectacular views
of the alps from the steam train as it climbs the mountain with our
bikes, a blissful cycle back to the river valley below. Vineyards
and orchards are a memorable feature of one of the most beautiful
and restful parts of France. Most of the wines are spicey, full-bodied
reds. Food is varied from guinea fowl to wild boar to the fruits of
the many rivers.
Our holidays start May 14 Mondays, Thursdays or Saturdays with the
last one starting September 22.
